Team India is gearing up for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which is going to start on February 19, 2025. Team India's performances in the ICC events are prolific. They are currently the ICC T20 World Champions and also they were the finalists of the ICC Champions Trophy which was held in 2017 and was eventually won by Pakistan. So, will 2025 be the year of Team India? Can they add another ICC Trophy to their cabinet?

In 2014 they were the finalist in ICC T20 World, In the year 2015 they were the Semi-finalists of the ICC ODI World Cup, In the year 2016 once again they were the Semi-Finalists of the ICC T20 World, In year 2017 they were the Finalists in the ICC Champions Trophy, in the year 2019 they were the Semifinalists in the ICC ODI World Cup and finalist in the ICC World Test Championship, In the year 2021 they had a dismal show as they were knocked out from the group stage of the ICC T20 World Cup, In the year 2022 they were the Semi-Finalists in the ICC T20 World Cup, In the year 2023 they were the finalists in the ICC ODI World Cup and ICC World Test Championship, in the year 2024 they were the Champions in ICC T20 World Cup.
These stats show that Team India has evolved as a real powerhouse of the cricket world across formats in recent years. They were the dominant side and one of the most consistent teams in the world right now.

- Formidable batting
India has one of the most formidable batting lineups going into the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. They have one of the best batters of the world Virat Kohli and Hitman Rohit Sharma who is the beast in white ball cricket. Moreover, they have high-class batters like KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Shreyas Iyer. Very talented and exciting young batter Shubman Gill. So they have a lot of experienced players at the top and middle order. Their batting has depth, class, power, and aggression.
- Powerhouse all-rounders
They have one of the best bunchs of all-rounders in the world right now. Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya are very experienced players at this stage, they have performed many times at the big stage. Despite missing out on their ace Jasprit Bumrah team India has still a lot of quality in their bowling ranks. They have Muhammad Shami who is an experienced campaigner at this stage, Arshdeep Singh has been added to his assistance, He is skillful enough to run through the opposition at any time. They have Harshit Rana as a third fast bowler, he has recently shown in the Boarder Gavaskar Trophy how lethal he can be with the ball on his day.

- Middle Order instability
